Debate without Borders (DWB) is a debate service organization dedicated to empowering the Gen Z voice. DWB is tasked with creating new debate societies in public high schools of Metro Manila and providing them the resources and community to develop their skills as debaters.

 

We are a team of high school students in Metro Manila that come from various debate societies and clubs that wish to spread our love for debate. We founded DWB as a means to increase the diversity and openness of the Philippine debate contingent, as well as creating a platform for the youth to communicate their voice. In light of the atrocities the Philippines is currently experiencing, it is extremely important that we let the youths’ voices be heard. It is only by increasing representation, being open-minded and sensitive to discussing controversial matters, that we are able to fathom the underlying intricacies for real solutions to the tired problems of our country.

 

Debate is an intellectual "sport" where immersing oneself in social discourse with one’s peers hones their critical thinking abilities, improves their confidence, and, most importantly, makes us widen our view of the world. As such, we extend an arm to all public schools within Metro Manila and invite them to sign up for our workshops and tournaments.
